It's fairly easy to dodge, but considering the difficulty of this game, you probably wouldn't mind it killing you after you save. The moment you save, it spits out the bullet you shot at it. The bonus worlds are extremely short and just there to transfer to the boss. Several later, it falls and tries to flatten you.
